Skagerak
Everything began with driftwood... In the 19th century the first lumber mills for cutting and processing driftwood were built in the danish city Skagen. Due to the many shipwrecks near the shore of Skagen such driftwood was in plentiful supply. A few generations later founder Ib Møller readopted this tradition with his company Skagerak - and thus also the love for wood, proud craftsmanship traditions, respect for the sea and history of seafaring and the everlasting search for innovations.
